Hallmark is advertising Confidence through a card showing a little girl raising her hand for her teacher to call on her to tell the answer that she is so sure of.
They are using bright, stand-out colors, such as pink, green, and yellow to show happiness and excitement. The girl is smiling to show how joyful she is in knowing the anwser and wanting to share it with her class. There are books, papers, and desks to show the scene is a school classroom.
The purpose for this advertisment is to show Confidence, that is why confidence is writtin in huge letters in the middle. They want you to know by getting the card, you will be ecstatic and confident. The whole meaning of the ad is wanting people to buy Hallmark cards and be confident and to give you and others such as your children confidence.
They want to help people feel good about themselves and sell their product as well.

Main Street
Main Street
When i think of Main Street, I think of all of the parades and celebations that go along with the various holidays. The two biggest hollidays celebrated on Main Street are Christmas and Halloween. You may just see a dingy old run dow street that has alot of old buildings but those builds are historic to this of batesville, arkansas and have been a part of Christmas's and Halloween's for the past 16 years of my life. My favorite has always been the anual Christmas parade. The scent of way to salty and drenched in butter popcorn fills my nostrils. There are so many people with their lips curving up into a ear to ear smile, their faces so blissfully red from the cold whipping wind and their hair blowing violently like a mini tonado. Screaming, chanting and the singing of many well know Carols is travling through the air. Children are running through the streets as they stuff their faces with candy. The steam of the delicious Hot chocolate is managing to keep my hands from getting frost bite and alltogehter keeping me warm.
